As we know, many compounds exist that can block certain wavelengths of radiation (Octyl methoxycinnamate, Trolamine salicylate, and Titanium dioxide to name a few). Some experts have theorized that suspending certain compounds above the Earth could provide protection in the event of a solar anomaly.
